The eleven people employed within the Employment Plan work on the embellishment of the Municipality
The Municipal Employment Plan of Betancuria has allowed for eleven unemployed people to be contracted. It is financed by the Canarian Employment Service of the Canarian Government, within the Integral Employment plan of the Canaries and with the support of the Ministry of Employment, Immigration and Social Security, as well as the Public State Employment Service. The Ayuntamiento of Betancuria is also contributing thanks to Canarian Funds of Development, FDCAN. The mayor, Marcelino Cerdeña, pointed out that out of the eleven persons employed for one year, one of them works in administration and the others are involved in gardening, cleaning and maintenance of the green areas, streets, curbs and tracks, which will have a direct impact on the improvement and embellishment all over the Municipality.
Betancuria increases and improves its mobile park with the incorporation of two electric vehicles
The Ayuntamiento received two new electric vehicles last month that have been added to the mobile park free of charge for the Ayuntamiento of Betancuria since they are 100% financed by the Ministry of Ecological Transition with a budget destined to those two vehicles of 52.700 Euros. The new electric vehicles are New Kangoo models with five seats and good load capacity. They will be destined to the areas of Social Services and direct attention to the population, as well as maintenance, such as work on parks, gardens, etc.
