Almost one thousand people have purchased products from the island in the new Craft and Local Products shop at the airport

Almost one thousand people have purchased products from the new Craft and Local Products shop that opened, in June, in the international departures area of Fuerteventura's airport. This facility was set up by Fuerteventura's Cabildo, thanks to the collaboration of AENA that provided the space, to promote and commercialise products from the island's countryside and craft makers. 33 craft makers and producers exhibit their creations in this shop which is managed thanks to the collaboration of GDR Maxorata. The crafts on sale include ceramic, leather, macramé, palm leaf, textiles, silver or wood, amongst others. On the other hand, products from the earth are also available such as aloe vera, cheese, salt, olive oil, mojo sauce, jam, wine or beer and traditional liquor.
