WHAT HAPPENS IN YOUR MUNICIPALITY?

ANTIGUA

The Ayuntamiento dedicates 20 employees for the cleaning of the accesses and streets in each village

WHAT HAPPENS IN YOUR MUNICIPALITY?
ANTIGUAThe Ayuntamiento has dedicated, from January until the summer, about twenty employees in teams who will go to each village to clean the roadsides, lanes and tracks of branches, stones, weeds or any waste that could hinder the transit of the population.

Each intervention and day of cleaning ends with on average twenty 50-kilo bags of waste that are immediately taken away by the municipality's trucks.

Every single village will be cleaned various times by those teams, who come equipped with shovels, rakes and brushes in order to clean the various access areas which will, therefore, embellish the villages, help with the population's transit and ensure that the area is clean and hygienic. This initiative will last until the summer in each village and also in Costa de Antigua and Caleta de Fuste from the seafront until the interior and upper areas of both villages.
